Matilda the Musical

Matilda the Musical, written by Roald Dahl, is an inspiring story of one remarkable girl who finds out her superpower and courageously takes control of her own fate despite all of the difficult obstacles she faces. She fights for justice and is rewarded with incredible outcomes.

ROALD DAHL’s MATILDA THE MUSICAL is open in select theaters in the US now and globally on Netflix on December 25th!

When Matilda meets her inspiring teacher Miss Honey (Lashana Lynch), she is inspired to create her own fantastical stories. However, upon arriving at Crunchem Hall, Matilda is shocked to find a sinister, oppressive atmosphere presided over by the intimidating Miss Trunchbull (Emma Thompson).

Amidst the harshness of Miss Trunchbull, two beacons of kindness shine brightly, Miss Honey (Mara Wilson) and Mrs. Phelps (Sindhu Vee), the story-loving librarian. Matilda (Milly Shapiro) finds solace with them and also forms strong friendships with her schoolmates. Upholding justice, Matilda bravely faces the Trunchbull and gives her a lesson she will never forget.

You may have seen some of the Dahl-icious choreography as the Revolting Children have been inspiring some Dahl-ightful mashups and creating a viral sensation!  #redberetgirl! From Pentatonix to Jojo Siwa and Missy Elliot, the songs and the moves are inspiring dancers around the world!
